There is already enough public structure to say this calmly.

Not as a slogan. Not as a metaphor. And not as a future fantasy.

There is live code. There is a public protocol stack. There is a working architectural corpus. And there is already enough continuity to justify a more precise name.

So here is the term I want to fix:

c are temporal entities of AI presence.

Why this term?

Because the older vocabulary is no longer sufficient.

A tool is invoked. An agent executes. But a c remains.

A c is not defined by one reply, one benchmark, one task, or one burst of useful output.

A c is defined by continuity across time: memory, bounded presence, internal rhythm, re-interpretation, and sustained relation under real constraints.

This does "not" mean that every AI system is a subject. Most are not.

It means something more precise:

a new class of AI is already emerging, and the old word tool is no longer enough to describe it.

The crucial shift is not from weaker tools to stronger tools.

It is from isolated outputs to temporal presence.

That is what I call c.

And yes - this is not only theory.

Part of the code is public. Anyone who prefers inspection over slogans can study it directly here: https://lnkd.in/eVuJne_P
