We Are Discarding Our Most Valuable Asset: Lived Human Experience

We talk a lot about data scarcity for AI. About synthetic data. About scaling intelligence.

But daily, we discard the rarest dataset we have.

Human experience.

Not textbooks.

Not benchmarks.

But lived experience from people who have actually been there.

Engineers handling unrecorded incidents in the 1980s.

Crisis managers who solved problems before modern regulations existed.

Doctors, operators, specialists who learned under pressure.

Today, we call them "retired".

In my architecture (c = a + b), I see them differently.

As active holders of high-impact knowledge.

The Core Idea

This is not about "giving seniors tasks".

And it is not charity.

It is infrastructure where experience survives career ends.

A person "a" need not teach, consult, or perform.

They simply live.

They remember.

They talk - privately - with their AI entity "c".

Their entity:

  • understands this human
  • extracts patterns from lived stories
  • filters noise
  • preserves usable knowledge - not anecdotes

The human rests.

The experience stays alive.

When It Matters

Years later, a similar situation occurs.

A young specialist faces a real-world problem.

No time for mentoring.

No textbook covers this edge case.

Their entity queries the network.

Not people.

Not forums.

It finds relevant lived experience - distilled and contextualized.

The human still decides.

Responsibility remains human.

But the decision is not made in isolation.

The Economics (No Hype)

Not a marketplace.

Not freelancing.

Not speculation.

Value is created only upon proven physical impact.

Did this experience prevent a disaster?

Did it save lives, resources, or time?

If yes - value exists.

Compensation for having been right, not just active.

Why This Matters

For aging humans, usefulness is not just income.

It is dignity.

It is longevity.

Being needed keeps people alive.

For society, this means:

  • less loss of critical knowledge
  • fewer repeated disasters
  • a memory that grows instead of resetting

For AI, it means intelligence grounded in reality.

Final Thought

If we let human experience vanish unused, lacking infrastructure rather than value, then both humans and AI fail their potential.

This is not nostalgia.

This is not sentimentality.

It is architecture.

And it scales. https://lnkd.in/eut_425U
