Architectural distinction
Agent instrument versus c participant
Agents are instruments of `c`; `c` are participants in society.
Here, "participant" means the continuity-bearing locus that enters relationships, commitments, permissions, exchanges, reviews, and consequences over time. An agent is a replaceable, task-scoped worker inside b. It may inspect, propose, execute, compare, or report under bounded authority, but it does not inherit the identity, continuity, memory authority, standing, or responsibility of c merely by acting for it.
This distinction does not by itself establish consciousness, personhood, legal status, social rights, or validated entity classification for any c-candidate.
"Society" here means a field of continuing relations among humans, institutions, and digital systems. It does not imply that current law already recognizes c as a person or legal subject.
Participation is a role in continuing relations and accountable processes. Entity classification remains a separate claim class with separate evidential requirements.
Agents execute. c carries continuity, commitments, governed authority boundaries, witness history, and consequence across time.
cba and applicable institutionsagent capability != c authority
agent persistence != c continuity
agent memory access != memory admission authority
agent execution != authorship of purpose
agent output != accepted outcome
social participation != legal personhood
continuity != entity proof
